Explosives, Movement Polish & Combat Fixes

UnitDown: Disbanded – Web Build Update
This update focused on improving combat readability, player movement flow, and overall moment-to-moment stability in the web build.
Explosive barrels have been added and are now fully functional within combat spaces. Alongside that, explosion damage has been fixed so enemy players correctly receive blast damage, making environmental interactions feel meaningful rather than decorative.
AI navigation has been cleaned up as well. Enemies will no longer path through crates or solid props—navmesh behavior has been corrected so encounters play out as intended.
The kill cam was also addressed. Camera glitches that occurred in most edge cases have been resolved, resulting in a smoother and more reliable post-death view.
Movement continues to be refined. Wall jumping has been reworked with adjusted values and additional math to eliminate straight-back jumps. The new behavior follows a tangential path that preserves momentum, making traversal feel faster, smoother, and more skill-driven.
To support longer engagements, ammo and health pickups have been added. An issue preventing ammo pickups from registering has been fixed, so resource collection should now behave consistently.
Finally, a few quality-of-life improvements were made for player comfort:
-
Adjusted default ADS sensitivity for better baseline control
-
Disabled motion blur and chromatic aberration by default, with the option for players to enable them if desired
This build is all about tightening the experience—less friction, better flow, and more reliable combat feedback. More iteration and features are on the way.
